I had to update this review because I tried the kit this past weekend and so far it is genuinely worth it. I am not a whiskey drinker by any means. This kit truly elevates a drink. We tried one of the recipes included in the kit and it was absolutely wonderful. You only need a small pinch of the wood chips for a couple drinks so there are a lot of drinks worth of product. It definitely justified the price for me. The one thing that doesn't come with the kit is butane for the torch so keep that in mind if you want to try it the day you open it.
