As a fan of good whiskey I wanted to try making my own. My first impression was already very positive just from the quality of the packaging, the design of the box and the components are pleasing to the eye. The chips and botanicals smell really good and offer a very good variety of possibilities of whiskey infusion. Bonus points for recommended cocktail recipes that are also included in the manual. Definitely a recommendation for a whiskey lover.

Who does not know that?You spend a lot of money on a noble drop and are then disappointed.With the infusion kit of craftly you can miss such disappointing spirits upgrade.The manufacturer offers its do-it-yourself infusion set for four different alcoholic beverages: whiskey, rum, tequila and gin.At the beginning I chose the Whiskey Set. My first attempt I started with a bottle open about 10 years ago.This Highland Single Malt Whiskey didn't really agree me from the start.For my first DIY infusion test, I did not want to make any radical changes and only used the "Citrus Tincure", which is quite close to the original taste. The DIY infusion set not only met my expectations, but also exceeded it.The refined taste was intense and offered a perfect harmony of nuances and depth.Next I will order the DIY Rum set.Two bottles of rum are already waiting.In my opinion, such a set is perfect as a souvenir for spirits lovers.Due to the appealing packaging and the convincing content, I am happy to give a five-star rating.

This kit represents an excellent gift idea, however available at a good price.If you know a person passionate about whiskey, therefore, the infusion kit of the craftly will be a very welcome and at all expensive gift. The package is well done, both from an aesthetic point of view and for the packaging, and the content is well arranged and protectedin the box.The latter contains a glass bottle with a hermetic cork cork, a funnel with a removable filter (both in stainless steel), two adhesive labels where you can mark date and type of infusion, various sheets containing instructions and descriptions (but only in languageEnglish) and 4 bags containing the ingredients for the infusions. In this case there are two bags with flavored wooden chips (Dark Chocolate and American Sweetheart) a bag containing ginger, orange zest and dried lemon zest (citrus tincure) and aBag containing cocoa beans, coffee and cinnamon beans (Irish Coffee). Infusion must be made as follows: first you have to pour a third of the content of one of the packets of troops in the bottle (chosen between dark shoes and American Sweetheart)And then add some non -aged white whiskey (of the non -flavored moonshine will be more than good) which, however, will have to buy separately because it is not included in the kit. This first infusion will have to last for 4 weeks at least, but if you want a basic noteMore marked then you can further extend the infusion time (always keeping the bottle in a place at constant temperature and shelter from light). After 4 weeks (or more time, depending on the case) open the bottle and pour the whiskey inA container filtering it with the steel funnel, in order to completely separate it from the chips.Rinse the bottle well and after cleaning it, pour the whiskey backwards by submitting it to a second filtering, in order to completely eliminate any residue of chip.For this purpose, if necessary, advice to also use a linen cloth cutout, so that you can filter even the thinner residues. This point take one of the envelopes with spices (Citrus Tincure or Irish Coffee) and pour half of itIn the bottle with the whiskey, stop it and leave it alone for a week.This part of the procedure is a "cold" infusion, so the bottle must be put in the upper part of the refrigerator (at a constant temperature of 4 or 5 degrees);After a week you can remove the bottle from the fridge and filter the whiskey again, which will be ready to be consumed. The kit content allows you to make different infusions.The bottle has a capacity of 350 ml, while the bags with spices can be used a couple of times each, while those with chips up to three times, which means that there is enough "raw material" to prepare upat 1.75 liters of Moonshine in five "shooting".

The Kit does not contain alcohol: it will be up to us to buy the base based on personal tastes, if with a neutral taste or more tending to something else. In the box we have a bottle from350 ml with cap, a funnel, a filter and four envelopes sealed with as many spices and aromas. The preparation consists in aromatizing the alcoholic base with one of the two wooden chips, the American Sweetheart, sweeter or the dark shock for onebitter note.After 2-4 weeks you have to filter and add the content of one of the two envelopes remained between the "Infusion blends":-Irish Coffee, if first we chose the dark shock, mix of aromas containing coffee beans, cocoa and a pinch ofCinnamon; -Citrus Tincure, if we have first chosen the America Sweetheart, with orange, lemon and ginger peel.
